Whole-home reset
- Declutter counters, fridge face, and bathroom vanities
- Hide trash cans, litter boxes, and pet bowls for the shoot
- Open blinds; turn on every workable light
- Replace burned-out bulbs with matching color temperature if you can
Kitchen and baths
- Clear sinks; dry chrome
- Remove magnets, papers, and excess small appliances
- Fresh towels folded neatly
Bedrooms and living areas
- Make beds with clean, simple bedding
- Clear nightstands of clutter
- Straighten couch pillows; remove extra personal piles
Outside
- Mow, edge, and blow walkways
- Hide hoses and trash bins if possible
- Sweep the porch; wipe the front door
